The color in foods can often
be a useful guideline for choosing the healthiest fruits and vegetables. For example, red
is an indicator of beta-carotene, a source of Vitamin A. This will help you realize that
red peppers are healthier than green, pink grapefruit healthier than white and winter
squash more healthful than summer. |

If youre low on iron,
simply cooking in an iron pot may take care of the problem. |

Drinking cranberry juice can
actually help prevent urinary tract infections. Be careful though. Most of the cranberry
juice drinks in an average supermarket have very little real cranberry juice. |

Choose cereals with no fewer
than 3 grams of fiber per serving. 5 or 6 grams is even better. |
